Sponsor a Refugee Family
Sponsors are people who believe that there is always hope, even for
people who have lost everything.
Sponsors give refugees a new chance to live. (www.korrnet.org\refugees)
Bridge Refugee Resettlement and Sponsorship Services was birthed by an Oak
Ridge native in the early 1980s and is the gateway for refugees to enter
into the East Tennessee area.
The primary mechanism for bringing refugees to Knoxville is through
church sponsorship.
A team of about 10 people with approximately $2,000 and three to four
months of time will be enough to change the life of a refugee arriving in
Knoxville. You will be able to welcome them at the airport, build a unique
relationship and help them achieve self-sufficiency within just a few
months. Bridge Services will help you along the way.
For sponsorship details, visit Bridge on the web (www.korrnet.org\refugees).
