Ways to Connect with Public Housing |
How To Connect
If your congregation is interested in outreach to one of the housing
developments, contact KCDC: Sharon Bishop, 594-8774, or Mary Drexler,
594-8820. Your request will presented to the president of the resident
association where you wish to serve. In turn, the resident association
will then contact your church for further information and contact at their
discretion.
Volunteer at the local Boys & Girls Clubs nearest your home. Serve this
agency as it serves public housing developments. Coach a sports team,
provided leadership in a club or help with tutoring programs. Hug and love
kids!
