Ways to Connect with People with HIV/AIDS |

Congregations
Pastors and trained lay leaders donate time to persons with HIV/AIDS who
need spiritual guidance.
Reach out with confidentiality to neighbors who are battling HIV.
Offer support groups to people living with HIV/AIDS.
Support an organization that helps people living with AIDS.
Offer HIV education and training to the congregation.
Invite Wayne Smith to share about Samaritan Ministry at Central Baptist
Bearden in Knoxville. Its a good model for other congregations to follow.

Puppet program: They go into schools and do skits all topics,
including HIV, depression and child abuse.
Need a commitment (practices and performances are scheduled).
Will train on puppets.
