OVERVIEW

By under girding all our efforts with strong prayer support, we are seeking the most important dynamic often missing in social service programs. 

In Zechariah 4:6, the Lord affirms it is by His power that His work is accomplished.  Therefore, it is mandatory that prayer be a first priority in all our efforts.  This can be accomplished by incorporating the following simple plan:

• The prayer coordinator will receive an updated list of prayer needs and answers from the executive director or the program director on the first day of each working week.
   
• The prayer coordinator will then pass this list onto each of the contact people or heads of existing prayer structures in participating Compassion Coalition network and other interested churches. 
   
• The prayer coordinator will contact pastors of new or not-yet-involved churches and their contact people to encourage prayer participation in the Daily Four Point Prayer*.
   
• The prayer coordinator will stay in close contact with the program director to receive prayer need updates, etc.
   

CHURCH PRAYER COORDINATORS/CHURCH MINISTRY COORDINATORS

• The church prayer coordinators will receive information from the prayer mobilization coordinator and pass it on to their prayer team.
   
• The church prayer coordinator will check periodically to see that information is being disseminated effectively and that confidentiality is being kept.

1. Pastor’s/family’s needs and outreach.
2. Church needs and outreach.
3. Needs and outreach of other Christ-honoring churches.
4. Ministry needs of Love INC.
