Over
25 people participated in the weekend painting service project!
We
proceeded much faster than expected, so we plan to do more next weekend
since it was already planned. Next weekend we will:
1. Paint an
additional hallway
2. Scrub the brick interior walls (they haven’t been cleaned in
years)
3. Power wash the front of the school and walk ways
4. Have a
prayer walk through the school, stopping at each classroom.
Everyone
was so excited to help. I’m just trying to keep up with them.
In
addition working at Beaumont, next
week we are…
1. Building
an additional 6 bed frames (25 teens working on the project)
2. Sorting
clothes, moving furniture, etc at the Angelic Center (25 teens
working there)
3. Starting a Bible
study at Dogwood Terrace
4. Having a movie afternoon at Dogwood Terrace
5. Mentoring the children in the evening at Knox Area Rescue Ministries
This
was an unbelievable week with close to 90 people actively serving!
