Christian Automotive Ministries (C.A.M.) was recently
blessed to have David Schmid, a local businessman and a member of
Fellowship Church, donate a garage which will allow Car Care Saturday to
continue year-round and in any weather. The donated garage was formerly
the Kwik-Oil business located on Middlebrook Pike.
On June 20, 2003 Barnhart Crane and Rigging donated
a 70 ton crane, 3 low-boy tractor trailers and 5 staff to move the
building from Middlebrook Pike to a temporary storage location on the
Bridgewater Church parking lot (you can see it wrapped in black plastic as
you drive by on (I-40). We are very grateful for the overwhelming
generosity of David Schmid and Barnhart Crane and Rigging in providing and
moving this building. God has truly blessed us in the most unexpected and
delightful ways.
The building is ideal for automotive ministries and
several area churches have already expressed an interest in using it for
their automotive repair ministries. Please pray for the associated zoning
issues as we work towards permanently placing this building and being able
to use it to touch the lives of many single mothers, senior citizens, and
low-income families in the name of Jesus Christ.
